North County Transit District

For the past 13 years, The Kobey Corporation has been the master tenant concessionaire manager for San Diego’s North County Transit District. BriceHouse Starboard partnered with the Kobey Corporation (BriceHouse Kobey, LLC) to enhance the NCTD ridership experience and increase revenue through retail expansion along the system’s Coaster and Sprinter routes.

Like the San Diego MTS study, BriceHouse Starboard conducted a long-term evaluation and ranked each station’s retail potential according to location, traffic flow, vendor interest, public need, and rentability.

The 15-stop Sprinter light-rail and 8-stop Coaster commuter rail provide numerous vendor opportunities. These opportunities are made possible through BriceHouse Kobey’s long standing relationship with the NCTD and BriceHouse Starboard’s prefabricated, LEED-certifiable Transit Retail Kiosks.
